When Is The Minecraft 117 Update Coming Out
Minecraft has not only been a game that has stood the test of time, but one that has dominated the gaming industry for a little more than a decade. To become the second-best-selling game of all-time is no minor feat, but Minecraft has also managed to stay culturally relevant, which is an even more significant achievement.
The way Minecraft keeps its audience engaged is through introducing new updates that change the game just about enough to keep things fresh. While these updates don’t change the core gameplay, they add several new things that freshen up the in-game experience.
During Minecraft Live 2020, Mojang revealed that a new “Caves and Cliffs” update, 1.17, will be available for download in mid-2021. Fans are now excited about everything new that this update will bring to the game.
Lush Cave And Dripstone Cave Biomes
Dipping back down below ground again, Caves and Cliffs part 2 is bringing two more cave types: the Lush Cave and the Dripstone Cave.
Lush Caves are temperate caves filled with vines, moss, and more exotic flora such as Glow Berries, Spore Blossoms, Azalea trees and roots, and dripleaf: a new block type which can only carry a player’s weight for a short time before tipping and letting the player fall. Sounds like Lush Caves are gonna be great environments for some parkour. I can’t wait to see what these gorgeous caves look like with the best Minecraft shader packs.
Dripstone Caves are, predictably, home to the new Dripstone blocks, which naturally grow through the process of dripping to create organic-looking stalactites and stalagmites. Besides this fascinating terrain feature, Dripstone Caves are functionally identical to any other cave, but they’ll no doubt be highly sought after just for the dripstone.
So How Is Minecraft Right Now
Looking at the numbers, it’s safe to say that Minecraft is doing pretty well for itself. Last year in May, Mojang announced that Minecraft had sold over 200 million copies , and then made a second announcement saying that the sandbox had surpassed 131 million monthly active users. It’s by no means not a surprise, but it’s certainly impressive.
Mojang announced that Minecraft sales exceeded over 200 million, and then made a second announcement saying that the sandbox had surpassed 131 million monthly active users.
These successes were announced right in the middle of 2020, which turned out to be a pretty great year for Minecraft players. The block-building sandbox kicked off 2020 with the game’s biggest update to date: The Nether . The update gave Minecraft’s foreboding underbelly a hellish overhaul, adding four new biomes, lots of new creepy mobs, and more resource blocks, including a new ore even stronger than diamond. The update was received well, as players rose to the challenge of surviving the Nether and creative builders got to work constructing haunted mansions and ghoulish castles with the spooky new blocks.
With regular patches and Mojang hitting its stride with major updates, Minecraft is in pretty great shape as we continue into 2021.

Is Minecraft 116 Out
Get ready to fall into lava. Lots of lava! The Nether Update, Minecrafts next big adventure, is launching June 23 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Windows 10, and more. The update will also be available on the Java version, and will roll out on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux during the same day.
Parity Changes In Minecraft 120
In the past 2-3 years, Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition have become much more similar than ever before. But the two editions still have major differences that might get resolved in Minecraft 1.20 update.
Locate Biome Command
Minecraft Java already has a /locatebiome command in the game. It allows players to find coordinates to any of the Minecraft biomes in their world. With the command parity in the last two updates, it wont be surprising to see this in the Bedrock edition too. The developers have officially announced that they are working on this feature in a community post.
Banners in Maps
In Minecraft Java, you can put banners in your world, and they show up on your maps. This functionality allows players to mark certain locations around the world. But the Bedrock edition has no such option. Because this is a much smaller change when compared to other parity concepts, Minecraft 1.20 might finally address it.
In Minecraft Java, you can combine banners with shields to make custom shields in the game. But no such feature exists in the Bedrock edition. Fortunately, the developers confirmed that they are working on it in the Ask Mojang 2019. So, we might finally see it in the new update.
Spectator and Hardcore Mode
As mentioned earlier, Minecrafts spectator mode is already in development for the next update. So, it wont come as a surprise if this mode is released alongside the hardcore game mode for Minecraft Bedrock.

What Is The Minecraft Warden
Players are eager to take on this new Mob due to its unique features and fighting style. The Warden brings a bit of horror influence to Minecraft, as it can insta-kill any player not wearing Netherite armor–and needs only two hits to kill players who do have that elite armor equipped. Combined with its daunting size and power, this gives the Warden a personality akin to Michael Myers: an unstoppable force not to be trifled with. Even Mojang said players should think of the new Mob as a natural disaster rather than a boss fight. Youre meant to evade and escape a Warden, not fight it head-on.
However, the monster is also blind, meaning it can only track players by sound. Therefore, its singular weakness can be exploited as a means to survive another night, or, for the really daring players, get the drop on the Warden. The Warden will follow noises it hears, be they yours, an allys, or those of a friendly Mob, such as a pet youve brought on your adventure. Its truly a one-monster wrecking crew. It even grows stronger as you fight it, but this is Minecraft, so undoubtedly, some players will try to defeat it.

Changes To Minecraft Terrain Limits
As of Minecraft snapshot 21w37a, all of the terrain changes and ore distribution updates are now here. You can get a full list of these changes at the official site, but here are some highlights of the new changes to mountains, rivers, and caves.
It would not be easy to implement with the current terrain height limitations, so these are changing to allow for the underground biomes. You may have heard Y=0, this refers to the coordinates you can enable in the options menu, and the Y axis shows the vertical distance. The lowest Y axis block distance limit will change to -64 in the upcoming update, giving you a large number of blocks to dig into. This is where youll encounter Deepslate blocks, including new varieties of Minecraft copper, iron, and gemstone blocks.
The same can be said for the maximum height, as the new highest Y axis block distance limit is 255, and this means there are new snowy biomes to explore:
The Deep Dark Biome Sculk Blocks And Wireless Redstone
One of the Deep Dark biomes characteristics is that its where you can normally find Sculk Growths. These growths a new Redstone-like power source but is the key for finally introducing us to the wireless activation of Redstone powered gadgets.
If a Sculk Sensor detects footsteps or destroy/place a block, it will emit a new Redstone signal. You can use these to operate gadgets without a trail of Redstone connecting the two.
You can use wool to prevent the signal from passing through too, meaning that you can ensure that the trigger only activates the signal between Sculk signals and contraptions. So the possibilities for wireless Redstone in constructing city builds or colossal Minecraft castles are nigh-on endless!

When Does The Minecraft Wild Update Release
The 1.19 update, known as the Minecraft The Wild Update, is available now for both Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Java Edition . For any issues, we recommend that you keep an eye on the Minecraft social media channels, such as , to get the latest information on the Minecraft 1.19 update and future updates.
There are plenty of new things to look forward to in the Minecraft Wild Update. Mangrove Swamp biomes, which exclusively spawn mangrove trees, and Deep Dark biomes will serve as new places for players to explore, including a whole host of new mobs, blocks, and items.
All the usual wood items can be crafted from mangrove tree wood, and you can get mud blocks, which can be packed into bricks and other blocks like clay. Youll even be able to craft a boat with a chest for all your storage needs out at sea, in a swamp, or along a river. Ancient Cities are also ready to be plundered in the Deep Dark, but watch out for Wardens that can be summoned if you arent quiet enough and activate too many sculk blocks stealth is encouraged!
As for other mobs, see if you can get a Minecraft Allay to help you collect some items by giving it something to look for. Youll also be able to find lots of Minecraft Frogs hopping around lily pads in swamps and other biomes. Breed frogs with slime and theyll create a frogspawn block, whichll eventually spew out some tadpoles, ready to grow into even more frogs!
Minecraft: What Is Known About The Wild Update
In an attempt to improve the wild places in Minecraft’s worlds, Mojang is taking steps to improve life in the wilderness. New mangrove swamp biomes feature deeply-rooted mangrove trees and murky waters to keep them healthy.
Tadpoles hatch and grow into frogs, which will have multiple variations depending on where they hatch.
Mud is also a topic of focus in The Wild Update, becoming its own block. It can be made using a water bottle on a dirt block and can even be dried out into clay by being filtered through dripstone. This creates the first source of renewable clay since Minecraft’s inception.
Mud can even be formed into bricks, providing a new block type that will likely be used at length in shelters and homes.

Likely the biggest draw in the upcoming Minecraft update is the implementation of the once-delayed deep dark biome. This underground biome is oddly devoid of most life and reaches deep into the lowest layers in all of Minecraft.
A strange material known as sculk lines across many places, vibrating to track the movements and noises of players. Sprawling ancient cities can be found in the deep dark and likely have plenty of loot available.
The Warden may be blind, but it can still detect users through other means, and its attacks deal devastating damage. Stealth may be the best option available to many gamers when dealing with this powerful new mob.

Minecraft Biomes To Fix
Birch Forests deserve some love after their anticipated upgrade was removed from Minecraft‘s Wild Update. The Old Growth Birch Forest variant has slightly taller trees, but compared to the Old Growth Taiga Forest variant, which has unique tree designs, blocks, and structures, the Birch variant is clearly lacking. Mojang initially announced plans to upgrade these forests by adding fallen logs, shelf fungi, and new flowers, but these plans fell through. This decision disappointed many players who were looking forward to the proposed features. Minecraft‘s next update could provide these players with closure by finally overhauling the Old Growth Birch Forest variant.

Changes To Minecraft Mob Spawns
In the first Minecraft 1.18 experimental snapshot, theres a natural terrain variation that is separate from how the biomes work. The patch notes state an example of this, suggesting that forests and deserts could form up on a hill without needing a special biome just for that. Mobs that spawn in the dark will now only spawn in complete darkness, so dimly lit areas are safer. However, a subsequent experimental snapshot makes zombies, spiders, and skeletons spawn at light level 11, so multiple torches are needed to ward away those monsters.
