What Is The Wild Update For Minecraft
The Wild Update is Minecraft’s 2022 titular release, and will bring new levels of polish and quality to the game after the fundamental shifts and changes introduced in the gargantuan Caves and Cliffs Update. The Wild Update will be smaller than its predecessor, but will also have a finer focus on parity between Bedrock and Java Editions of Minecraft, achieving a greater level of quality for new and existing features, and making Minecraft’s Overworld a more exciting and diverse place with which to explore and interact.
The Wild Update was announced during Minecraft Live 2021, The Wild Update will follow 1.18 Caves and Cliffs Update Part Two, still slated for release later in 2021, with a fresh batch of additions and features for all platforms Minecraft is available. It will also likely introduce the winner of the Minecraft Live 2021 Mob Vote, alongside all the other changes and brand-new features.
On the surface, The Wild Update may not be as immediately exciting as the Caves and Cliffs Update’s major shifts to world generation and mining , but it’ll still contain plenty to get players excited. The Wild Update will, hopefully, do nothing but contribute to why Minecraft is the greatest game ever made. As we learn more about The Wild Update and everything it entails, we’ll continuously update this space with all the information we have.

The biome is also home to Frog, another mob added in the update. They are a passive mob that can be grown from Tadpoles, which are another new addition to the game. New Biomes In Minecraft 120
Over the years, Minecraft has teased several new and revamped biomes, but they never reached the players. Hopefully, we might see some of them finally find their way into the game in Minecraft 1.20.
In 2018, Minecraft held a biome vote where the community chose Tagia as the biome they wanted to get a revamp. But developers assured that the losing biomes will be implemented in a later update. We think its finally time to update the Desert biome in Minecraft 1.20.
The new desert biome is supposed to get palm trees, meercats, and possibly an oasis in the revamped version. We also expect to see some new variants of the cactuses in the desert biome as the developers gave a green light to such an idea here.
The second biome that lost in the 2018 vote is the Savanna biome. If the developers decide to update this biome instead of the desert, we expect to see a revamped Savanna in Minecraft 1.20 update. It might have Baobab trees, , termites, and evenostriches.
Minecraft also had a biome vote in 2019 in which the mountains won, and a revamped version went live in the Minecraft 1.17 update. But whats interesting is that the losing Mangrove swamp biome also got updated in the Minecraft 1.19 update. So, whats left is the Badlands biome, which might finally get an update in Minecraft 1.20.

The Deep Dark Theories
Our next topic revolves around the question of why would Mojang include the Deep Dark biome? Other than creating a home for the Warden, why include the mob in the first place? We may find out in Minecraft 1.20.
When exploring an Ancient City, youll always find a mysterious structure in the centre. Youve probably wondered what its all about if youve seen it yourself. Its surrounded by reinforced deepslate, a block only found within the structure. Could this mean that its a portal to a new dimension? Is the Warden the protector of a world of riches? Will the dimension could the citizens that used to live in the Ancient Cities?
Many players have been speculating that the new dimension would be the Aether. We know that Mojang has recently hired the creator of the Aether, , which could hint at the next dimension. However, looking at Aethers Twitter page, youll see that theyre working hard on their next version.
However, this isnt to say that there wont be a new dimension that KingbDogs is working on. With his background in dimensions and world-building, Mojang clearly recruited him for their next dimension.

When Is It Released
The official release date for the Minecraft 1.19 update is Tuesday 7 June, with an expected release time of 3PM BST, which is when new snapshots are issued each week.
Mangroves will have their own form of wood, and when you chop them down and turn them into mangrove planks, Mojang says you’ll be able to utilise them to make mangrove-colored decorations like doors, fences, and other wood goods, just like any other wood kind.
Minecraft 119 Deep Dark Biome And Wardens
After originally being planned for the 1.18 update, Minecrafts dangerous Warden mob has been delayed to the Wild Update in 2022. The Deep Dark biome wed seen previously has been expanded further also. Mojang did a serious dive into the Deep Dark biome this year and its looking much scarier than before.
What makes the Deep Dark so much spookier now is the Sculk Shrieker blocks which will emit a screech when activated and put a darkness effect on the nearby area. Youll need to get away from that Sculk Shrieker quickly and quietly because that loud noise will likely attract a Warden.
As wed already seen, the Warden mobs are very, very dangerous and will hunt down players by sound. The Shriekers pulsing darkness effect makes the stomping of the giant Warden sound like something out of a horror game. In the new video of the Warden we actually see one tunnel out of the ground through some sculk blocks, which is extremely frightening.
Also new in the Deep Dark are the big ancient city structures that you can find down in the dark. Mojang has hinted that theres a structure at the center of every ancient city that may have its own secrets. Youll also want to pay attention to the Sculk Catalysts. When an enemy dies near one, it will convert nearby blocks on the ground to Sculk Blocks, which you can mine to gather experience.

Minecraft 119 New Content: New Biomes And The Warden
In an official announcement from Mojang, we learned a little bit about what to expect from the Minecraft 1.19 update before it officially released. For starters, there are two new Overworld biomes called the Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp.
As the name implies, the Deep Dark can be found in an underground area below the surface. In the Deep Dark, youll be able to find new items like sculk blocks. But watch out while youre exploring, because you might run into a new mob called the Shrieker. Youll have four shrieks to escape it, or youll come face to face with The Warden.
The other new biome in the Minecraft 1.19 The Wild update is Mangrove Swamp. This is a much more calming biome compared to the Deep Dark and is full of lots of foliage and the new mangrove trees. These massive trees will introduce a new type of wood to Minecraft as well as the mud block. Naturally, youll also be able to craft a mud block with dirt and water.
In addition to the new biomes, The Wilds update also introduces three new mobs. Perhaps the biggest is the highly anticipated Warden, which is a challenge unlike any have ever seen, according to Mojang. The Warden resides in the Deep Dark biome and you can only escape it by using your stealth skills.

Minecraft’s The Wild Update Brings New Biomes Mobs And Blocks To Your Favorite Sandbox Survival Game
Explore the deep dark and the mangrove swamp in today’s Minecraft update
It’s been seven months since the second part of Minecraft’s Caves & Cliffs update dropped, and today marks the release of the next big update, with a focus on the great outdoors . The latest patch is known as The Wild Update, and just like previous updates, players can expect new content, like two new biomes , new blocks , and new mobs . Microsoft has even released two trailers that detail the two new biomes, which you can watch below.
The first trailer for Minecraft’s The Wild Update covers the new deep dark biome. As you can see, this biome is indeed deep and dark, as it’s underground. This biome is particularly quiet but contains something known as the shrieker, and you have up to four shrieks to find any that you’ve accidentally alerted to your presence before a warden mob shows up to wreck your day. This contrast of an incredibly quiet biome that contains objects that shriek will surely keep players on their toes. Sculk blocks accompany this biome, and silk touch will be required to mine it.
You can grab the new update for Minecraft directly from the Play Store, and since the mobile release is part of the Bedrock edition, those on consoles and PC can also dive into The Wild Update, as today’s update goes out across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Xbox, PlayStation, and the Nintendo Switch.
Minecraft Bedrock And Java Editions Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass For Pc
Xbox Game Pass has proven incredibly popular with gamers, giving access to a multitude of titles for a low monthly cost. What some don’t realize, however, is that it’s also available for PC. The PC version includes a plethora of Xbox titles as well as numerous popular PC games, and as of Minecraft Live, Minecraft will be joining those ranks.
The developers said they were unable to decide which version of Minecraft to add, so both Java and Bedrock Edition will be available, giving players the maximum freedom to choose what they want to play.

Lush Cave And Dripstone Cave Biomes
Dipping back down below ground again, Caves and Cliffs part 2 is bringing two more cave types: the Lush Cave and the Dripstone Cave.
Lush Caves are temperate caves filled with vines, moss, and more exotic flora such as Glow Berries, Spore Blossoms, Azalea trees and roots, and dripleaf: a new block type which can only carry a player’s weight for a short time before tipping and letting the player fall. Sounds like Lush Caves are gonna be great environments for some parkour. I can’t wait to see what these gorgeous caves look like with the best Minecraft shader packs.
Dripstone Caves are, predictably, home to the new Dripstone blocks, which naturally grow through the process of dripping to create organic-looking stalactites and stalagmites. Besides this fascinating terrain feature, Dripstone Caves are functionally identical to any other cave, but they’ll no doubt be highly sought after just for the dripstone.
