How To Set Up The Minecraft Control Panel Multicraft And Game Panel
Now, we can set up the control panel to run the server.
Hostinger offers two control panels to choose from MultiCraft and GamePanel.
MultiCraft is a popular choice, allowing users to manage multiple Minecraft servers from a single interface. On the other hand, Game Panel is an open-source control panel for running Minecraft, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, and Steam-based games.
Lets explore how to set each one up.
First, go to the hPanel, select your MinecraftVPSserver, and navigate to the Server Management tab. Then scroll down to Other settings. Make sure that the Operating system is MultiCraft Minecraft Panel.
If not, switch it to MultiCraft and click Save changes. Note that this transition may take a few minutes to complete. You can see if the process has finished in the Latest Actions tab.
Once complete, return to the Server Management tab and go to the Notes section. You will use the control panel username and password to log in to MultiCraft.
Select the blue Login Details button on the left side of the page and click on the Login URL to open the MultiCraft sign-in page.
Here, copy and paste the login information youve found previously.
Youve arrived at the Multicraft dashboard. Now, head over to the Servers tab and select Create Server.

We Don’t Rank Servers By Votes Count
Instead, there is Server Score.
Serverlobby collects reviews from your players to analyze your server strengths and weaknesses.
We use that to compute the Server Score which determines your server ranking. Votes only have a small impact on your Server Score. That way, even small and medium servers can be on top of our ranking.

If youre just hosting a server for players on your local network, you dont need to worry about port forwarding. If, however, you want to make your server accessible to the world, youll need to enable port forwarding on your router.
Refer to your routers documentation to find specific instructions on how to configure port forwarding for your device. For Minecraft, youll need to forward TCP port 25565.

The Domain Name System
To explain this, you have to understand the Domain Name System . Every machine connected to the internet has an IP address composed of different numbers. Because humans are not really good at remembering numbers some smart guys invented a system to give names to these numbers, the Domain Name System. Every time you enter a domain, e.g. example.aternos.me in your browser or in your Minecraft client, your computer looks this name up and finds the numbers behind this name to connect to the server. To look up the domain name, your computer asks a DNS server, e.g. at Google. If this DNS server doesn’t know the IP address behind the name, it then asks the next DNS server, e.g. our DNS server, which knows the correct IP address. Every DNS server and even your computer save the IP addresses behind domain names for a short time to avoid unnecessary requests to other DNS servers. This is called “caching”. Some servers have a caching time that is too long.
What Is A Minecraft Server
Minecraft is a brilliantly crafted sandbox game that allows people to fight, survive, explore, and build virtually anything they want. One of the best features of the game is the multiplayer option that allows you to go co-op with your friends and other people.
Not only can you connect to other worlds on your friends’ and family’s devices through LAN, but you can also purchase one of Microsofts Minecraft Realms which are worlds where ten players can play simultaneously. By far, the best option, however, for multi-playing on Minecraft is through servers, where, theoretically, an infinite number of players can share the playfield with other Minecrafters. Minecraft servers are like upgraded sandboxes where modifications can be made to the game, making the playing experience way more enjoyable.
On servers, players can engage in minigames, meet new people, explore, build, and compete in challenges with other Minecrafters. Every year, thousands more Minecraft servers are created and grow rapidly. The largest Minecraft servers have millions of fans all across the globe and hundreds of players on a daily basis. For these reasons, servers are extremely popular, and many people want to set up their own servers and grow the latest and greatest Minecraft multiplayer world.
