Inviting Other Players To Your ‘realms’ Server

Depending on whether you have a free trial or the higher-tier Realms subscription, you’ll be able to create a world accessible to two players, or up to 10 players. Here’s how to invite one or many friends to your realm:
1. Open Minecraft from the launcher and select “Minecraft Realms” in the main menu.
2. Click the wrench icon, located to the right of your realm name, for the realm configuration screen.
3. Select “Players,” on the top-left side of the “Configure a realm” screen.
4. Enter the Microsoft or Mojang gamertag for the player you want to invite under “Name,” then tap “Invite player.”
All you have to do now is wait for the player to accept the invite, which they’ll be notified about in the main menu next time they launch “Java.”
You can also grant invited players “Operator” status, allowing them access to certain in-game commands. Operators cannot, however, invite or remove players from the realm.

Maneuvering Around The Minecraft World
Dont worry if the view you have doesnt match the view we have below. Each Minecraft world, unless loaded from the same source as another Minecraft world, is a unique generation. So whether the game plunked you down in a forest biome, on a beach, or atop a mountain, you can still walk through the basics of maneuvering the map and using the keyboard shortcuts with us.
Youll notice that the first thing the game does, after dropping you onto the map , is prompt you to press the E key to open your inventory.
Because we are currently in Creative Mode, we see the full creative inventory as opposed to the Survival Mode inventory . The tabs around the Creative Mode inventory make it easy to hone in on just the materials/objects you want: the tab with the sword on it intuitively shows you in-game weapons, and the tab with the little rail section shows you the in-game transportation tools.
The gray band of blocks at the bottom of the inventory screen is your quick-access toolbar. Any items you place in that strip of nine spaces will be available to you outside of the inventory menu. Go ahead and place some blocks in the quick-access bar now. Were going to select some brightly colored wool blocks so theyll stand out from the regular terrain during subsequent screenshots.
Once youve finished poking around the inventory menu , press the ESC key to return to the return to the game.

Survival And Creative Modes Or Hardcore Mode
In creative mode of Minecraft you can fly and get what you want and you dont get hurt so creative mode is good for young kids who just want to test Minecraft and find out about it. It is good if they want to just play and not get hurt.
In survival mode of Minecraft you have to do tasks to get items like wood, iron and coal and then use them to make new items that can help you get even more items. You cant fly in survival mode and things can hurt you and when you die you came back. Zombies, creepers, zombie villages, zombie pigmen, skeletons, spiders, cave spiders, silverfish, ender men are all things that can hurt you . There are different modes in survival, like peaceful, easy, medium and hard. Survival is good for a challenge but can be hard if you set it to a mode that is too high. I recommend you start on peaceful and try out weapons on pigs and cows because they cant hurt you.
Hardcore Mode is like survival but you dont come back to life if you die. Older kids like 10-15 year olds might be good for hardcore, it would be a challenge for them. I would recommend only using hardcore once you have mastered survival because it is automatically hard mode and you cant change it.
